Five Thirty Somewhere was born in 2023, the brainchild of Mahima Agarwal. Our story began with a simple idea: to create garments that are as beautiful as they are sustainable, as comfortable as they are stylish, and as versatile as they are timeless.

Our Roots in Slow Fashion
From the beginning, Five Thirty Somewhere has been committed to the principles of slow fashion. In our fast-paced, mass-produced world, we saw a need to return to fashion's roots - celebrating the artistry, skill and sustainability that are so often lost in today's cycle of trend-chasing and disposable garments.
Slow fashion is about so much more than just taking your time. It's a wholehearted embrace of quality over quantity, heritage techniques over industrial shortcuts. Each thread is carefully selected and woven by skilled artisans, creating the foundation for our designs. We then use AZO-free dyes to infuse our garments with vibrant, earthy hues that respect the land.
Our brand grew organically from this philosophy. We sought out partnerships with artisan communities in India keeping alive generational skills like hand-weaving, hand-block printing, embroidery and natural dyeing processes.
While the fast fashion juggernaut showed no signs of slowing, we were determined to provide an alternative - eco-friendly fashion that didn't sacrifice style. Our sustainable clothing line uses underutilised AZO free dyes, low-waste weaving methods and eco-friendly packaging materials.
